2 Different Size Wheels?
I've seen an S2000 with SSR GT1s with 17's in the front and 18's in the back, featured in a Japanese magazine. So it's definitely possible. I don't know what effect it'll have on handling, if any.
I'm another one contemplating to get a set of NSX wheels ... 16inchs in front and 17inchs in the rear. Hmm, I wonder if there will be any problems. The weight of the NSX wheels are quite light with the tyre when I lifted one up recently.
Cars with different size wheels between front and back have larger overall diameter back tires. S2000's front and back tires have almost the same diameter, so I don't see how this can be done without looking weird. That is, in order to retain similar overall diameters to the original, and between both front and back tires, the rear tires would be of a much smaller profile than the front ones.
Then again, if the purpose of doing this IS to make the rear tire/wheel combo bigger than the fronts, then...
