Default 2 Different Size Wheels?

I have wanted to put 17" wheels on the front and 18" wheels on the back of my "S". Can I do this? I really like the look such as on the Corvette.

I've seen an S2000 with SSR GT1s with 17's in the front and 18's in the back, featured in a Japanese magazine. So it's definitely possible. I don't know what effect it'll have on handling, if any.

I'm another one contemplating to get a set of NSX wheels ... 16inchs in front and 17inchs in the rear. Hmm, I wonder if there will be any problems. The weight of the NSX wheels are quite light with the tyre when I lifted one up recently.

You would think as long as the offsets are about right and the diameters remain about 25 inches everything would be fine.

Cars with different size wheels between front and back have larger overall diameter back tires. S2000's front and back tires have almost the same diameter, so I don't see how this can be done without looking weird. That is, in order to retain similar overall diameters to the original, and between both front and back tires, the rear tires would be of a much smaller profile than the front ones.

Then again, if the purpose of doing this IS to make the rear tire/wheel combo bigger than the fronts, then...

I have 18" x 9" rear and 17" x 7" front OZ Superleggera's on my car and it looks awesome. They look and handle great. My suspension is stock and there are no rubbing or clearance problems.

As far as looks go, it's fine. Nothing unsightly about it.

What size/brand tires Front and Rear are you running?
I'm running BF Goodrich KD's (G-Force TA's I think, they're Y rated) on the front and rear. Fronts are 225 45 17 and rears are 265 35 18's. They fit well, look great and handle awesome.
