What type of clutch do you have?
ACT street clutch and PP. whats up with the left side always breaking??

If you have to ask is the car too low it is. Quit launching the car and you'll quit breaking inner CV joints.

Yeah, it's binding against the road.

From what I've gathered, you have to basically have the car on the verge of moving before you launch

You can use the ebrake to make sure you don't move, and drop it at the same time you launch.

Hey 305, if you're beginning to feel that us old-timey mod types are being a little hard on you maybe it's time to try and read something into that.

You were not sold a dud axle. Just like your previous axle it died from abuse, be it a brutal gear change (and I'm sure you never weakened it by dumping the clutch previous ) or a brutal launch, they can only take so much.

And I'm not coming from some holier than though white horse pulpit. I too have busted an axle (and a diff, and an engine etc). I did mine launching from the lights and getting wheel hop so I know where I'm coming from. It's just unlike you I didn't immediately look for someone to blame. It was all the fault of the nut that holds the wheel.

You posted the pics of your car in the dirt, not I. The 2nd axle YOU broke was launching wasn't it? Enjoy your car, I don't have to work on it.

If I did I can already tell you it's too low to get on most drive on alignment lifts and any post lift. Nah, It's not too low.

At least on their way to 30k posts, the mods have learned that the rules of grammar help readability immensely. Perhaps you could learn that from them.

Just because the first one didn't break during a launch, it doesn't mean that previous launches (assuming that you did them) weren't a significant factor for when it did fail.
