Does the defroster switch in the car for the soft top window also control the hardtop defroster, or does another switch have to be installed in the console pocket behind the cup holder?

I have a top for mine that I have yet to install. This was one of my questions also. After looking through the manual, installation instructions and the hardtop parts kit, it looks like the 2002 models use just the one switch on the dash. I didn't get an extra switch or a lot of the other parts that the installation instructions show for the earlier models-just a short little wire harness and the new hold down brackets with the disable switch and some odds and ends. I'm waiting for a pleasant day and some help to install it. Ialso have the cd changer to install and only want to take things apart once.

I haven't needed the defroster yet, but no new switches were installed with my top.
