Default 23mm 6-point wrench

I am looking for one of these to use on my diff fill bolt. Went to sears, no go; checked snap-on's website, no go. The reason I want one of these and not a 12-point is that I went to change my diff fluid the other day and the bolt looks a little rounded, and I dont want to make things worse. '

Also, I can't seem to fit a socket in there, so the 6-point socket is not an option. Does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes one of these wrenches? Or do you guys have any other suggestions?

I am looking for a 6-POINT, not a 12. Craftsman doesn't even have one in their catalog. READ the title.

Try using a 12-point to remove it and replace the bolt afterwards. If you end up rounding it off, use vice-grips to remove it and then replace it. You shouldn't have any issues with rounding if you're using an impact force versus just pulling on the wrench, even with a 12-point.

easier to buy a 23mm 12pt and a new bolt than hassle trying to find, then waiting for a 6pt to arrive.

I guess I'll give it a try with the 12 point and hope for the best!

I've been using a 12 pt from the very first time I did a diff fluid change. The mistake that most people make when removing many of the bolts from this car is that when removing a bolt that is up against an aluminum surface, you shouldn't be applying increasing force on the wrench. Many of the bolts on the car needs to be suddenly SNAPPED to get it loose. Make sure the tool is squarely affixed onto the target bolt and give it a quick, forceful, sudden snap. This applies to tranny fill and drain, engine drain, spark plug hex bolts, coil pack bolts, etc.

Dude, this is S2KI.com. You can't expect people to actually READ the question before they post irrelevant drivel...
