Default 2nd to 3rd shift?????

when i shift 2nd gear to 3rd at slower speeds especially theres a small clunk i feel in the shifter knob. It almost feels like a slight quick grind of gears but im not sure. I know theres a gear grind tsb but it feels like more of a clunk then a grind ( unless that is what the gear grind is) is this normal? What do you guys think this is. The car is a 01 with 6000km on it. ?
Thanks in advance

HI,

I feel the same tick in mine. Mine is an '03 with 1600 miles on it.

But it pisses me off.

It feels like something is going to break in there.

Mine has done this since new (now 45k miles). As gernby states, it is normal and nothing to be concerned about. Even after the transmission TSB was performed on my MY '00 car, the 2-3 notchy shift remained.

My MY2001 has the same notchy sound 1st to 2nd and 3th, even after TSB 54 and 55 performed a month ago.

My '03 with 4K miles has been doing the same thing - noticably not smooth shifting from 2nd to 3rd at lower speeds. Dealer is supposedly looking at it. Pretty bad symptom, in my opinion it's .
Anybody get feedback from dealers on this? What ultimately causes this - design, tolerances, alien transmission gremlins?
