Whenever I shift into 3rd during a spirited run, the "bump" feeling does not occur. The shift is like butter. I believe it has everything to do with the 3rd gear synchronizer.

 

I finally have tried redline mt-90 to get rid of that clunk.....Nop it's not working...And the shifting in my opinion is like when i use Honda mtf so i plan to get back to Honda's fluid this summer.
Some owners like the redline fluid so i guess that a different car react a different way!

 

that 'clunk' is normal. It doesnt give off a grinding sound but you can feel it in your palm and forearm when you shift. Try revving higher, and let the syncros do their thing, dont push it in.

I get a slight "thunk" occasionally when I shit from fourth into third. I think I've only felt it three times and I can't seem to reproduce it at will. Any ideas on that one?
