Default 3 1/2 years and 65K miles HELP!

Good now that I got your attention. I need to know what stuff I should be checking on my S to be sure it keeps running in tip top condition!

I am going to be silicone spraying down all the CV joint boots to get them nice and pliable again. Same goes for the hoses under the hood. Grease up the door jams and hindges. Checking the brake pads/lines. Changing the tranny oil again.

Questions:
Should I do a fogger on the engine to clean the carbon out? I saw something a while back that said to do it before the engine got TO OLD in case some of that carbon was keeping holes shut.

I have not done a radiator flush ever. Though I hear it goes for what 5 years? Brake fluid gets moved out regularly!

Its got a new batterie. New spark plugs and the coils look ok. Clutch will probably need replacing in a year.

Is there anything else that I should be doing some "preventative" maintenance on? I want to be sure the car is in as good condition as possible before I put Cams/V-AFC on it.

I might try to do a leak down test to check compression(if I can find somebody with one) and if sombody had a scope small enough to look through the spark plug hole I would do that too.

away!

I thought the early S2000s had regular coolant which needs to be changed more often. Have you checked your owner's manual to see what the change interval is?

Have you ever adjusted your valves?

Yea I did but it made NO difference. I will check/adjust them obviously when/if I install new cam's.
