Default 30K maintaince?

Im approaching 30k and need to get the car serviced.
What needs to be done?

Tranny, Clutch, Plugs, im guessing but anything else??
I'm planning on doing it my self but how much does it normally cost if I had someone else do it?
I'm not sure if it makes a difference but the car is tracked.

Also any recomendations on fluids like Redline, Motul??

Thanks

If nothing has been done:

oil and filter
air filter
cabin filter
diff fluid
trans fluid
clutch fluid
axle nut tsb
typical visual inspections

Definitely do NOT do spark plugs in your 05. Leave them be.

Didn't you forget brake fluid? If you're going to do the clutch fluid, seems like it would also be natural to do the brake fluid.

No I didn't forget. There is abosolutely no reason to change the brake fluid in an 05 with 30k. Unless the car has been on the track.

You can bet the bank that the clutch fluid is trashed.

The brake fluid sees higher temperatures and more severe operating conditions than the clutch fluid. And the Honda service guideline is "every three years" for the brake fluid, which might be coming up soon on a 2005 anyway. (Amazingly, there is absolutely no mention of a clutch fluid replacement interval in the Helm manual.)

But I'm more used to track environments. I change my brake fluid several times per year, but my clutch fluid only every couple of years.

The clutch fluid takes more abuse, because of the master travel length and the frequency.

This is why 75% of the s2k's I work on have low clutch fluid, because it's leaking out under the dash into the carpet. This is the number one cause that amplifies the 2nd gear grind.

I've cured many 2nd gear grind issues just with a clutch fluid change.

OK, well, like I said, I'm more familiar with track related use, where the brakes are use very intensively.

I hear ya....ONE GOOD DAY on the track is enough reason to change the brake fluid.

Race fluid is definitely the way to go, before you hit the track.
