36k and only oil changes...Any issues?
Just go over what is involved in your owner's manual for that service. I'm sure that either you or someone mechanical you know can do most of the inspections. Then jot down what you need the dealer to do and shop around. Ask for quotes on ONLY what you want done NOT for the cost of that scheduled maintenance.
Thanks all. I called the local Honda dealer and asked them to fax to me a list of what they do for the 30k service. They also told me the price was $298, not $400 as I was quoted when I was in for an oil change over the weekend.
After reading all of this I am starting to get a bit freaked out about the car and am worried every time I get into it now. I'll see what I can do on my own via the excellent FAQ's, but I don't have a lot of faith in my mechanical abilities.
Thanks again.

Brake fluid should be changed at least every 2 years IMO - even sitting it deteriorates a certan percentage every year, and after 4 years, you are at the point where a seriously heated brake system could cause the fluid to boil. Plus, corrosion of the brake components becomes an issue. I prefer to use the reverse brake flush using something like the Phoenix Systems device - I am not sure how the dealership's power bleeders work - do they suck or blow?
