Default 4.44 install specs?

Does anybody know the Install specs on the 4.44, like the preload, backlash, etc...I'm not real familiar with these terms but I want to know what to tell the guy that is going be installing my gears....Thanks in advance for any input and/or comments.....

same as OEM specs. a honda helms manual will provide this info.

also... IMO i'd be wary of someone doing your S2000 diff that doesn't already know these things....

i wouldnt. you'll be hard pressed to find someone who can tell you these specs off the top of their head. even at a dealer. most of the guys/girls out there will go into the manual for these numbers.
what i would be worried about are the ones that tighten it down to "uumph" and call it a day.

I wasn't referring to someone knowing them off the top of their head. I was referring to the fact that any good installer would know where they can EASILY be found.

in fact, as you said "someone that tightens it down and calls it a day".... anyone who was using the helm manual to get the torque specs, would also have the backlash settings.

so since they don't, it sounds like they're kinda installing this "willy nilly"....
