All's good. Ardy just wanted to make sure that what I said did not mislead anyone into thinking that the 4.77's are a bad mod. I would not say that and had hoped that I did not mislead anyone into thinking that. I thank Ardy for coming forward to point that out and compelling me to make that clarification.
I should have stated that this was possibly one of the reasons why "some" people have been reluctant to do this mod (in response to a question posed). I certainly did not intend for it to mean "Don't get this." If my circumstances were different, I'd do it.

4.77's are the way to go. HUGE difference in acceleration in all gears at any RPM.

 

isnt the 600 rpm rule not correct, since it is a percentage wouldnt that rpm differnce vary with speed......example it is 600 rpm higher at 60mph....but how many rpm higher at 120mph??
