Default 7lbs pulley for Comptech

I just got a call from Hardtopguy. My aftercooled, Comptech 'charged engine put out approx 288 hp completely untuned with stock plugs(50k miles). They then put on the 7lbs pulley from Tech2. I believe the number came back at 310 hp. It is my understanding that nothing but the pulley was changed. That's 22 hp for $140.

Tomorrow I will have my car and the dyno graphs. Sorry, but I couldn't wait until tomorrow. I'm anxious to drive her in her second life. For those that might wonder, my baseline dyno was 196.2/136.x. I believe the torque after install is in the 190's.

This graph is of before sc and after sc w/ 7lbs pulley, only bumping up fuel pressure.

Forgot, A/F was pretty rich under VTEC and lean afterwards. Again, I'll have more accurate data tomorrow.

I've read on this board that the Comptech-provided pulley puts out about 5.5lbs and is called a 6lbs pulley.

Nice!

I dynoed 286 untuned. I'm also running rich, but throughout the powerband. I think my next upgrade will be the 7 lb pulley. All I want is over 300 rwhp and I'll be happy.

Looking good. I will be watching the progress of your S. You may be the inspiration for me to go for a supercharger.

Thanks, Jim. Jeff said, power-wise, it feels the same as his NSX right now. Of course, now he's going to add a smaller pulley.
