When the S2000 was introduced it featured a 3 channel ABS system (with the rear wheels sharing a channel). However, my understanding was that in order for a stability control system such as VSA to work, you had to have a 4 channel system. Was this upgrade made during the model life of the car, or possibly in 06, or did they somehow make it work with the 3 channel system?

Just curious to know.
