Axial short shifter slips out of gear

Axial short shifter slips out of gear
OK I installed the Axial flow short shifter on my 2003 s2000. Installation was
straight foward and easy. I torqued the 3 allen bolts down to spec and greased
everything up good.My problem is it slips out of 3rd and 4th gear EVERY time!!
Reverse is almost impossible to engauge as well. What gives? any advice from
fellow SS owners would be greatly appreciated.

What was the fix?
I placed the factory rubber boot over top of the supplied one from ricks. Although it fit nice and snug, The force of both rubber boots would slowly push the
shifter out of place. After 2 minutes I figured it out. Everything works perfect
now
