Most likely cause is you broke a ABS sensor wire internally when you swapped the diff.

Most don't remove the axles, just separate the lower ball joint to get the axles back far enough to pull the diff.

If you the knuckle/axle back far enough you can break the sensor wires.

It's black. And check to make sure you tightened the bolt all the way down. I've seen a loose sensor cause an ABS light too.

They're pretty fragile. Nowdays, if I'm doing anything with the hub / control arm, I unbolt the sensor and move it out of the way.

Pretty easy to install a replacement one. ~$100 in parts.

Make sure that the sensor is clean and seated ~1-2mm from the ring teeth first. And try driving around for a few miles before replacing the sensor to give the ABS computer a chance to reset if there really isn't a problem.

so if the sensor went bad , cause i damaged it by removing the lower ball joint arm, do i just get a 10 mm socket take the sensor out and just replace it, or does the whole cable coming from the chassi has to be replaced?

is there anyway that the lower arm is not aligned properly? because when i had to take it off the lower joint in order for me to move the axle.

how can i see if its not aligned properly? cause i just used a jack to put it back where it was, with the castle nut.
