Default ABS light please help :)

Hey guys,

i have had my abs light come on, and it is throwing a code 15, i have tried the search and am unable to find what this is.

Has anyone had a similar code with their abs? anyone know what the problem might be?

any help is greatly appreciated

This is waht the manual says about it:
Right-rear wheel sensor (open/short to body ground/short to power)

It goes on to say that it's either a bad wire, such as a shorted out wire between the control module and the sensor, or a bad sensor. check wiring, connectors to that wheel. good luck.

Have you done any work on the brakes or suspension recently? The abs sensors and wires are easy to damage as well as the notched ring on the hub that the abs sensor uses to calculate wheel speed.

thanks for the reply guys , i really appreciate it.

Ill have a check over on the wires and connectors tomorrow and keep you posted.

I have recently had a set of Tein RA coilovers installed so something might have been damaged during installation, but ill check it out soon

thanks
