Default AC clutch broke off the compressor

hey guys, i recently found out that my ac clutch came apart from the compressor. don't know how or why it happened, any info? and does honda sell this clutch part or do i need to replace the whole compressor unit? thanks

btw it is an 03 with and 05 f22 motor. i would like to know if it uses the same compressor or is it completely different?

Usually when the clutch hub breaks off the compressor's input shaft has broken as well.

yeah sounds like your compressor locked up...find a used one and replace the dryer while your at it, usually gets contaminated with shavings...

I had a similar issue. Both myself and a friend had A/C failure. Actually all parts are on backorder. I ordered a new compressor and evaporator and managed to get the parts in a week. Only problem is that debris gets sent through the A/C lines when this happens. A/C failures requires a lot of work and the need to either ensure the lines are completely cleaned out or replaced.

Here was mine
