Default AC no longer blowing cold

It's actually been that way a few years now. I remember the AC gradually getting less and less cool but now that i've moved to hot summer state i'd like to get that fixed before summer hits.

Having no experience working on AC systems on any car yet, is there something I should look at first if I want to DIY? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like you need someone to check pressures in the system. Here's a video that explains it.

Rented the pressure gauge tool, giving it a shot. Thanks for the lead.

So interestingly i'm not getting any pressure on the low or high side with the AC manifold gauge. I'm also not seeing the compressor motor clutch engage or AC fan running (while AC is in the on position). I am still getting hot air when I turn the heat up.

Going to try looking at the AC pressure switch next..

See if there are any codes.

1. Set to vent.
2. Ignition to ON (II).
3. Within 5 seconds.
If the Recirc light is on, press 5 timesIf the Recirc light is off, press 6 times.
The Light will come on for 2 seconds and then blink the codes (if there are any).
1 is air mix motor circuit.
2 is mode control motor circuit.
3 is blower motor circuit.
4 is evaporator temp sensor circuit

Didn't get any codes with this method, unfortunately. I did pick up some r134a and separate PAG oil, a vacuum compressor tonight, and an electronic refrigerant leak detector tool. No plans to use any of those yet until I am more certain about what the issue is.

You have no pressure on either side, means you have a leak. Look along the compressor see if there is oily residue around the pulley. Or if it's caked with dirt.

Ah, misread that as just the low side. Definitely check for leaks.

Looks to be fairly clean but I have cleaned by engine bay once or twice since my AC has stopped working so it's not a good tell for me.

So I checked the voltages between the AC pressure switch connector on the drier and the connector for the pressure switch at the ECU using back probe method, both read 11.5v which sounds normal. Now remains the known fact that I have no pressure at all and that aligns with that Fokker and Slowcrash are saying.... a leak and I am looking into that more.

What also boggles me that is the radiator fan is not coming on either... I thought that's a whole separate circuit from the AC fan.
