Default Acura "Soft" Beep Conversion

As you all know, when you press the lock button twice, the horn goes off once. My '06 Acura TL made a soft beep chirp when I locked the doors that sounded elegant and pleasant.

My question is, after I get the soft beep device from an Acura, how would I wire it in?

And, when I use my panic mode (which I hardly ever do), will the factory horn still go off?

Thanks

Interested in this as well. I know the generic honda alarm brain has the option but the S never received that option.
I haven't had time to test it out so I'm in for the end result.

I actually asked this question long time ago. I've done this on my Nissan by simply wiring in a small buzzer to rear turn signal. I bought one of those from RS. Not sure how S2k is wired, Nissan had separate wire for turn signals and for signals when locking the car.

Horn only works on 2nd click, no need to turn it off. I want to be notified that my car is locked and not by the horn.

3rd product down. It's kind of loud so I had to cover half the speaker hole with tape. Now it's perfect and sounds just like my Lexus. Not sure why more cars don't come this way. I rather not have to go outside to see my car is locked when I can sit inside the house and hear it.

Lock - 1 beep
Unlock - 2 beep

Your panic button still functions using the OEM horn. Installation is easy, but you do need to get under the dash. Bribe your gf/wife for her small hands, it'll help.

Thats alot of wires that u need to cut lol. I wonder if its possible to install just the buzzer like I have done on my Nissan. All u need is the wire that sends the signal to blinkers when you press lock button. Radio Shack buzzers make the same "Lexus" sound.
