BTW, I think you would have a hard time getting two headers on an in line 4 cylinder

You can achieve 300 WRHP with an SC, but you will need a higher boost SC pully (smaller diameter), new external engine managment and possibly larger injectors, to be sure of having a reasonably reliable ride.

Once you have reached your magic figure you will need to use the power carefully or you will burn out the clutch and shatter the differential. You can of course renew these items as well but of course this will mean extra money.

Try 280 RWHP as a first step you can always go for more later!

Me and many others are at 300 and some way over with a s/c. I did it with a pulley while I hear some dynoed at 300 with just the stock s/c kits.

I think it is unlikely you will get 300 RWHP without tuning.

Assuming most S2000's put down between 190 and 200 RWHP you would require at least a 50% increase in power from the SC. An out of box installation will not deliver this, however depending on the type of dyno you are using you could see figures around the 300 mark.

Take it easy! He meant no harm, nor did he break any forum rules. Misunderstandings about HP and WHP happen all the time. These things merely need to be clarified. You only need to ask for clarification or point out the discrepancy. There is no need to get "hostile". Until rules are broken, ALL are welcome here.
Damn, I thought I could be an E-thug. Guess not here.

BTW, does anybody know how the s/c will affect the factory warranty?

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. I made 315 rwhp with an out-of-the-box Vortech kit.

Dyno results can be seen here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=176722.

Big Burp, What was your pre SC dyno RWHP on the same machine?

Perhaps your dyno is just reading high they are not all that accurate from dyno to dyno that's why you really need a before and after measurment.

What I'm trying to say is that given the stock boost from the Vortech you will not get more than +/- 45% power increase without tuning and/or more boost.

That's fine. But that's different from what you said before. I don't want people to think that it's not possible to get 300+ whp from an untuned SC kit, since I (and several others on here) have done it.

Unfortunately, I don't have a "before" dyno to compare.
