Default Adjusting Headlights

Okay, I have looked at the adjuster for the headlights many times now, and I just cannot figure out how a phillips head screwdriver adjusts it.

Can someone please fill me in? thanks!

Here is a link on how to do it. http://www.modifry.com/freebies/old/zenon/index.htm

But to tell you the truth you would be alot better off taking the car to Honda and paying them the money to get them aligned to spec. I tried and ended up with them to low and alot of scratches.

The instructions at modifry say where the adjuster is, and to use a phillips head... but not how to do it... I guess I am just not "getting it"

Well actually I used a socket wrench. You need an extension and a socket that swivels. That is the best I can explain it.

the adjusting knob has teeth that catches onto the phillip screw driver's head when you turn it

or you could use a socket and turn the nut in the back of the knob...thats what i do

I have done it, but like the other's said, it's more difficult with the phillip's head.

If your not carefull, the screwdriver will skip. A 10mm 1/4" socket with extension on a 1/4" rachet is the way to go

You can see the 10mm adjuster bolt in the pic.
