AEM CAI Instructions
Just got my AEM CAI and the directions provided by AEM aren't the greatest. I don't have a lot of concerns but I want to make sure I do it right.
I searched for installation instructions but the best post (the one with pictures) came up with 'X' s. Can anyone offer some assistance or if you are in the Washington DC area and have some free time on your hands...
Thanks in advance. Joshua

we are having a huge meet this saturday at noon...
Saturday 29th meet
If you go, a few of us, including myself, have the AEM CAI installed, and we can show you how to install it.
If it has all the screws and hoses, PM me, and maybe we can even install it beforehand or afterwards...

If it was my thread that you could not see the pics, I've since fixed them. It only showed the correct routing of the vacuum lines:

Thanks everyone for your help. I was already to give the installation a shot today.. but then it snowed. Well I guess I will have to wait for the spring type weather to return.

I finally installed my AEM on Sunday. The greatest help was a fist full of pages printed off of this site. Most of them posted by xviper. The hardest part of the install was removing the stock hoses. Once the hoses were off everything went well. I bought the unit used and was missing some parts so I had to make a creative isolator for the bottom bracket. Another issue was the cuts needed for clearance. I used a scribe to trace the area and then a coping saw to trim. The coping saw made light work of the splash guards. Be sure to check for clearance on the aem and the sway bar. Look for any stray tools and tighten that baby up. One last note, Warn anyone in the house before you start that sucker up. I brought the car to my mom and dads house (they have a heated garage) and when I started the car they came running out to see if I was ok. MAN I LOVE MY SPUGEN SINGLE!!!.
