Default AEM CAI Owners - HELP!!!

Guys, PLEASE help me! I installed the AEMv1 about a month ago and I CANNOT get the CEL to GO AWAY!

Here's the situation: I clear the CEL, start the car, drive it with NO ISSUES for SEVERAL DAYS (incl. cruise control) before it comes on. It comes on randomly, sometimes on first ignition, sometimes while driving down the road.

I double, triple, qudruple checked the vac line routing and it looks fine. Sounds to me like a VERY SLOW vacuum leak but from WHERE? Before I go through and change every single hose,...

Has anyone else encountered this? Any thoughts which line(s) are problematic?

Thanks,
Dave

Make sure it matches up with what I have n my website...if it does, then something else is amiss, and I doubt a slow leak woould pull a CEL

you might want to check the vacuume line connections on the black sensor thing that's bolted on the AEM CAI. The vacuum lines may be attached but they were on loose on mine. I had to use some zip ties or some clamps to ensure they're sealed.
Reset the ecu and tri again.

After you are positive that ALL of the lines are correct and it still throws a CEL, I'd put the OEM back on. If it still happens w/ the OEM one, take it to the dealer. I had a similar problem. Turns out the ECU had to be replaced.

Thanks all, I THINK I finally got it resolved...

MacGyver-

Your photos from your website pointed out the fact that I hadn't plugged that vacuum sensor back in after I removed it from the airbox... Man, I'm an idiot!

Cleared on Sat and so far, no CEL... I think I'm good to go.

Thanks again for the help all!
