Yeah dude. I have lots of ideas why your car isnt running. Call me. The biggest problem is the injector sync and the initial timing. I can help you. Call me Friday or Saturday and we'll sit on the phone and I'll help you get it running. My S would even start when I first installed the EMS either. I've fouled 4 sets of Iridium plugs since I've been tuning. Also dude, if you read in the documentation, you will notice a little helpful reminder to remove your cat and run a test pipe. The reason for this is because you stand a good chance of either burning it up or clogging it up!

Seriously, email me and I'll give you my phone number so you can me and we'll get it running

Hams2000 - I probably should have stated this in the beginning but I am not going to use this on my stock engine. I am building a F20C from the block up to be turbo'd so I might run into the same problems Wes is having. Call me strange but I didn't want to touch the original drivetrain. It is being pulled out once I complete this "little" project I started and put into storage and replaced with one that can/should handle the expected HP. Plus this way I can still drive my S while I build the new engine and rear nd.

I understand your issue, and I still can help you my friend. All of the tuning I've done has yielded one observation that AEM confirmed to me. The MAP sensor is the bigtime problem with this car.. Actually the sensor itself is okay, it's where Honda decided to place it in the intake stream. It sits right behind the throttle plate where it reads erroneous vacuum at high rpms. This is the reason why the EMS has been causing so many engines to lean out dangerously at high RPM's. It's not the software's fault, we have Honda to thank for this one. There is a way to fix it though!

Ooooh do share. If the MAP sensor is causing problems for the AEM EMS it will more than likely have the same issues with the TEC3 if I go that route. I do admit that the more I think about it I might go with the TEC3 for no other reason than that is what they(the tuner) specialize in.
