it was a bitch to get that little rubber duck bill in for me. But I'd say it prolly varies from kit to kit but I got it squeezed in nad it's super tight. They never gave me a replacement screw for the Denso air pump thing that bolts to the bottom of the upper intake pipe lol but the labor installing this was well worth it the throttle response is nuts

that thing is so annoying. it sticks out about an inch, so now i'm afraid to lower the car at all. haha maybe i'm just way too paranoid, but every time i fill up, i take a peek to make sure that it's still there.

must be different from kit to kit then, because the the rubber piece in my kit goes in with little to no effort, and can be pulled out with almost as little effort.

same here. it went on very easily with no problems.

but due to this is why i chose to add a little bit of silicone just to make sure it does not fall out on it's own.

^^ do you have a new V2 system with a small hole close to the filter facing the ground? a small rubber thing is provided to close off that hole, but i'm always afraid that it might get bumped and knocked off. i put a bit of super glue on it, but i was just wondering how other V2 owners are taking care of that.
sensor safe pliable sealer.

Superglue would work as well.

that's what i thought...because it's at the lowest part of the pipe, so i thought the hole there in case water collects there. with the rubber piece, it'd be easy to drain if the car had been sitting in rain for a while. i don't really see any other reason for it, and if the pointy side is on the inside, it would cause unwanted turbulance imo. idk, i could be completely off...i couldn't find any threads that explained why they put that hole there.

i installed mine with the long side pointing out, so that the inside of the pipe is relatively undisturbed.
