After all of our AEM EMS Headaches...
...finally hit the rollers today. Even in the rough and unfinished form that the software is in now, we are now happy. Last week was a different story, but I think it is safe to say that the car is putting down more power to the wheels than any other S2k I have yet seen. I think there are more gains to be made once customer upgrades to better header, exhaust, and maybe plays with filter sizes. If you have the time, the know how, the money, and most importantly, the PATIENCE, the EMS is worth it. I can not wait to see what we can get to the wheels with the Toda Cams. Peak power was impressive, but midrange is what amazed us the most. Dyno figures will be posted once we are done, but so far, DAMN impressive!
Thanks to HAMS2000 for having patience and for listening me when I asked to stick with it!

Yeah, I'll third the worthless.
"See, there's this guy. He has an S2000. He's got some stuff on it, plus an EMS. It makes really impressive power."
You don't have to tell us the guy's name. At least tell us what he's got in terms of mods.
UL
(wondering if anyone has decided to go MoTeC with all the hassles the EMS has been creating).

You all should really be less critical. We have our reasons for not posting numbers at this time. I will tell you that once the EMS is dialed in, it's very impressive. I had the Vafc and thought it made nice power, but it's nothing compared to the EMS. I wouldn't even waste the time on the Vafc now.
The only thing I will say is that when we made the first dyno run, I thought it was making less power than the Vafc. The truth was that the powerband is so broad and smooth that it was fooling me. I expecting something more peaky but now its silky smooth. When I actually saw the graph, I was blown away....
If you have the patience to work with the EMS, get it. You wont be disappointed.
