Im in need of a replacement compressor and was looking at aftermarket units. Has anyone here had any experience with these? Or should i find a used oem?

I've only heard bad things for aftermarket compressors for our cars. They just go bad way too soon. Seals leak. Maybe its something to do with spinning at 9k rpm, which probably most aftermarket compressors weren't designed for.

Exactly what I was about to say. You're better off finding a used OEM one than a "new" remanned unit. I went down that road, and can only offer my advice based on my experience. The remanned ones are made for civics that can't rev past 6,800 rpm, a far cry from what our engine can do.
