Default Aftermarket Connecting Rod

Hi,
I've done a little searching on the boards but couldn't quite find the answer I am looking for. I have spun a bearing and need to do a complete engine tear-down. I'm wondering if there is any benefit to replacing the OEM connecting rods with an aftermarket product? Has anyone had experience doing this?

We plan to have the whole block looked over, sending out the crank to the machine shop to check clearances, etc. Anything else (besides the unknown of what we'll find) I should be aware of/look out for?
Thanks in advance!

The OEM rods are strong enough for any NA build.
