oi oi... anyone knows the diference of a 05 and 06 engine?
i want to buy an air intake chamber(top fuel) at ebay but they say that it can't fit my 05 coz its for an 06??? they also say coz 06 have drive by wire thing,... anybody knows if i can make any slight mods to make it fit??? coz i guess the engine bay of an 06 and 05 is the same right???

 

06 does not have air injection, there is a spot for the air injection system to pull air in from the intake.

You could drop a filter on the air pump , or the end of the hose that wold connect to the intake.

There may be another difference,
but you could just drop a filter on the breather for the valvecover up front, no other things need to connect to the intake tube on 05.

 

you'de also have to plug the air injection hole in the intake tube.
