I took my 05 K&N air intake off and attempted to put it on my 06...The hoses and metal tubes are completely different...Can someone please help? There is no two way valve that I can find and I have an opening on my intake with no hose to go to it...I've blocked it, but it's obviously not right...I fired it up and got not codes, but I know it's not installed correctly....Can someone please assist.

hmmm, dont know what to tell you, but yeah, thats definitley an issue, considering the intake is for an S with the secondary air pump, the 06 doesnt have one.

 

just plug up the hole on the Intake, the kit is exactly the same for 05-07,

but in the newer kit, the instructions just tell you to plug the hole in the intake for the airpump, with a supplied grommet....

They added two parts for 06, a hose clamp and a grommet (AA and AB on the Parts List section). For an 06 you'll want to follow the steps for vehicles with an air temperature sensor, and skip the ones for vehicles with air injection pumps. That should do it.
