Air pump flow

Does anyone know if the hose from the intake to the airpump blows air or sucks air?? I think i got mine in backwards thus its throwing a P0411 code.

So it blows into the intake pipe??

No, it sucks filtered air, and pumps it to the EGR (I know, I know, it's not EGR, but similar) valve on the back of the intake manifold.
