Alignment Problem?
I just came back from a little ride in my S. For the past several days it felt as though my cars steering response was a bit sluggish. Also my wheel had to be turned slightly to the left in order to continuously drive straight. I attributed both of these problems to wayward tire pressure due to all the heat. However after checking all 4 tires and adjusting them I still have the same problem. I don't know so much about the steering response, but the car still definitely rolls to the right when i perfectly center the steering wheel straight and level. The car used to do this before but to a lesser extent. And that I found was normal only because of the streets natural inclination to slope to the right to funnel rain water. The street is at its highest in the center. But the listing has my steering wheel turned far enough left to actually start annoying me.
I would say that the steering wheel when I am driving straight on any given road here is turned about 1cm or more to the left. Which is really starting to bother me. Does anyone else have this problem with their S? Mine is a 2007 with 17,000 miles on the clock but i figure it shouldn't be that bad. Was it something I hit on the road really hard one day? I have no idea. If its not the tire pressure, what is it, and how can I go about fixing it?
Everyones input is highly appreciated.

I hope i'm not hijacking the thread, but i have the same problem, i think. After a sprited drive, and even more spirited spin at 140 kph, car veers right ever so slightly.
Now excuse my lack of knowledge of terminology
I took of the front wheels and noticed that there's a ball joint on the edge of the steering knuckle (??) just behind the brake rotor. This joint on the left side is firmly in its socket and covered by a rubber collar (??), but on the right - it sorta sticks out a bit. Whether it popped out, or there's just dirt in the socket that neads cleaning out - i don't know. But I think that's what causes the right wheel to point right slightly.
I'm going to the dealer with this problem since i don't have the tools or experience to fix this... just hope nothing's broke. So check that... somehow i don't think that alignment can change that much during one drive

Yeah, I haven't pushed the car that much , and even taking it close to its limits i have never experienced a drastic change in steering wheel alignment. I think this may have occurred after I hit something on the I15 freeway. Looked like your average run of the mill pothole that had been filled in with fresh asphalt. But after rolling over it at about 50mph it felt like i ran over a 3inch tall steel beam. It shook the entire car and i was afraid of real damage. However it just kept on rolling along, and i didn't notice any ill effects of the handling or any excessive noise that would have indicated damage. This might indeed have been the cause now that I think about it. But we have 2 different causes for the same problem, so now I'm curious.

I have the exact same problem. I have a lot of miles, about 31,000. I ate up the inside of my front passenger side tire, so I need to replace the fronts much earlier than necessary. My AP1 never had an alignment issue.
