Low battery, Check engine light
Must have left something turned on too long with my 2005 AP2 and wouldn't start after some minor work.
Engine cranked sporadically but wouldn't quite fire. .Charged battery for an hour or so and then used jumper battery,
started right up. BUT check engine light was on.
I'll check it for codes tomorrow but any theories as to why? Would slow cranking/ low voltage give a misfire code? Low
fuel pressure?

Ask us after you pull the codes.
An hour won't do more than put surface charge on the battery, nor will driving it for an hour or two. Charge it overnight, unplug from the charger, and let it sit at least 12 hours. Voltage should be 12.6v or higher. If not the battery is toast. Not surprising as automobile starting batteries only get a couple complete discharges before they're ruined.

Code was P0607, computer output problem. Cleared/erased code after full charge on battery, everything seemd ok.
Guess the low charge state of the battery was the root cause for the code as I suspected. Useful thing to know.
