Default Alternative to Honda HT Urea Grease

I cannot find this grease anywhere (in a reasonable period of time). I have checked multiple sources and it's on national backorder. I'm installing my tranny/clutch and there are multiple locations that require this lube per the service manual. Can somebody please recommend a suitable alternative. One that you actually used with good, long term results.

I have found Lucas Extra Heavy Duty grease in stock, but no real idea if it's a good long term alternative..

I currently have some Valvoline Full Synthetic Moly Fortified Gray Grease and some Honda Moly 45 grease as potential alternatives.

Much appreciated.

Don't use moly thickened grease.

Use polyurea grease.
Lucas XTRA HD would be my best guess.
Park Tool also makes polyurea grease. Not sure if its rated for high temps.

I think Honda uses a synthetic base for HT Urea? Not sure. I'm also not sure if Lucas does.

Lucas doesn't seem to have the same consistency as Honda. But again, theoretically, it should function similarly.

Thanks for the quick response. I couldn't find any specs for the Honda grease. The Lucas grease seems to be high temp. "Dropping" point of 500F. I attached it's spec sheet. I'm tempted to use it, but after all I've been through to get to this point (I've now finished converting the used 2005 engine to DBW with my 2007 engine components) I really don't want this grease selection to bite me in the a** down the road. Can anyone else weigh in on an alternative that they've used with long term (mileage) success.

What area are you in? Any S2000 enthusiasts in your area that might have the grease on hand?

The wrong grease won't bite you in terms of killing the engine or trans. But the pedal may feel shitty as time goes on. And you'll have to drop the trans again. That's the risk, really.

Agreed and I DON"T want to drop the tranny again. I'm in Bend Oregon. I'll check and see if local Honda dealer has any (I doubt it) and check on the local area forum here.

There is a green polyurea grease aviailable from John Deere
https://www.deere.com/en/parts-and-s...ease-coolants/
and also from Huskey
https://www.huskey.com/product/huske...lyurea-grease/

Could these be a substitute?

Yeah I saw these polyurea greases also. No idea which ones are a good long term substitute. The poster shrykhar above you PMd me is kind enough to send me the remainder of this tub of Honda HT urea grease for the cost of shipping. What a great S2000 community still around. It speaks to this car's legacy in the auto world. I would still be nice to know other good long term substitutes. I'm are they are out there, but I've been through so much to get where I'm at on resurrecting my S2000 that i wont take any chances on the correct grease to use.

I got some a couple of months ago at a local dealer (Sacramento) and it was in stock. Such a commonly used item, I am surprised it is backordered.
