The sound of the Invidia at WOT alone is worth the $700, my friend. The weight savings and minimal HP gain is simply gravy...

the invidia at WOT is pretty amazing IMO. I talked to a certified welder and there are two ways to weld titanium but I only remember one of them. Sometimes, not sure if this is what AMUSE does, but they have to weld it in a small enclosed area with gloves ect and the labor costs is what really drives the price up. I agree with saving the $1300 extra because it is only 20lbs ect but sometimes having the absolute best is worth it to someone even if it isn't worth it to everyone else. and for SC, it flows well and when adding all that SC weight, saving weight is very important. -Anthony

[B]here is my version of the weight of the RS*R-invidia cat-back exhaust system. i use the Pelouze brand, a digital scale. this is not a bathroom scale. the Pelouze scale is made for shipping packages. all items are brand new during the weigh. i am impress by these numbers for a dual exhaust. i believe that 1-2 pounds may drop after break-in.

Dual Muffler & Pipe:-----------------18.4 lbs.

Kool! I save 2.2 lbs(1 kilo) by NOT using the silencers.

If money were no matter, I would probably own a different car all together. But for me, it does matter. That's why I also use 4-IG's CAI. Still get props for the "black chrome."

JL9000- The stock exhaust is over 50 lbs(I think). Weight savings even with the Invidia is over 25lbs, but the sound is why most people buy exhausts! Sure, some gains may be realized, but sound sells!

It's all good. I bought my Invidia for looks and sound. Any weight savings and gain(minimal) is bonus. There are two things on the car I cannot sell. One is the hood... wife bought it for her!. The second is the exhaust because the wife loves it. Go figure!

Life is good!
