Is the amuse full Ti???

 

I think its SS...... too cheap for for Ti

 

I haven't ever heard of any titanium headers. Would it even be as durable as steel? The header has a lot more forces on it than an exhaust pipe. It also seems like it would provide only minor weight savings considering a stainless unit can be only 10 lbs.

 

Its Ti supposed to be the lightest, most strongest type of metal.....

 

I saw Titanium headers for the 350Z. The only problem is that it is $3800 !!!

 

True, its the material they use to build spacecraft and stuff

 

Amuse is SS, they supposedly produced one Ti header for themselves but it never made it into production.

 

So does anyone on the board own one? (Amuse that is).

5 lbs is a big difference when it comes to the weight of a header.
