Post Analog Instrument panel conversion...

I'm just pondering here...

What would it take to convert the instrument panel (IP) to the analog tach and maybe digtal speedo? I was thinking of something close to the 360 modena style tach. I love this car, but can't shake the digital tach. I know its F1 inspired...believe me I'm a huge F1 fan (hope to see some of you at the USGP). I've just been itching to do something crazy like this, but dunno how the electronics are set up. All plastic parts are easily made (thank you 3D printer in my office). I can pretty much design and build any part. Its the electronics of the guage cluster I'm concerned with.

I was considering maybe just over laying the tach and have a mask for the IP with cutouts for the important guages with custom graphics or fonts. Or some small elaborate mirror system to reflect the speedo and odo to the side. I welcome all ponderings and flaming!!!

Can we be friends?

Haha as for your question I believe the Stack gauge is your only option other than something very custom.

I was thinking totally custom. Nothing bolt on. I just wanted to know if the cluster could be tinkered with or if anyone knows about the odo security thing. I guess I could fool around with a spare cluster if i could find one cheap.
