I doubt it's possible unless you also replace the ECU and some other electronics. Also would need to revise cruise control, ditch VSA, etc. The main benefit of DBW is that it simplifies a bunch of other systems in the car.

 

Pretty easy:

1. Sell 06+ AP2
2. Buy 05- AP2/AP1

This is the only cost effective way to do so.
