Default Anyone Have Experience w/ 4Piston Racing?

Does anyone have any first hand experience with 4Piston Racing? They seem to do amazing work and use great products per their Instagram. They offer complete built race motors, heads, blocks, and can even rebuild a block if needed. However, I can't seem to find any info from anyone with one of their motors? Specifically an F-series motor. Does anyone have any first hand experience with 4Piston Racing? Anyone know of someone who may have had their motor rebuilt by them or purchased one of their race engines directly from them?

I don't but they're a pretty well-known and respected engine building operation in the Honda world. Even I've heard of them and I'm not much of a Honda fanboi.

I do believe there are a few guys on here with direct experience.

Just find it odd I can't find any feedback from s2000 owners anywhere online. They seem to know what they're doing especially for the K series motors, however the F-series is another animal. Wondering if they're as successful with the F-series as they have been with the K series.

I couldn't find much information out there, but recently decided to go with their 2.5L setup. Currently chasing an oil leak, but will be swapping the intake manifold and cams once that is sorted. Here's my dyno compared to my ap1 engine.

mods:
endyn head
hytech header
evs 70ssp exhaust

Thanks for sharing this information. That must be fun to drive now! Hope you can figure out the oil leak issue.

Have you always been N/A? What cams and manifold do you plan to go with?

They will be building my shortblock for my current SOS supercharger setup. I really wanted to try their 2.5L complete engine setup to go back to N/A however I am afraid I will not be happy coming from 400+ WHP SC setup to N/A unless I know for sure I can make at least over 300whp. They said over 350whp is possible with e85, race header and ITBs on the 2.5L complete engine setup they offer, however I have yet to see or hear about someone actually reaching these numbers with the F series engines they offer.

Always N/A. Stock AP1s make about 190-200whp on this dyno. I went with 4pistons' rr4 cams and pracworks intake manifold. Hoping to get closer to 300whp with these changes, though 275whp seems more likely.

Excited to see your results!

I think it was @06Estukay who has one of their 2.5L builds as well.

I've been dealing with this company since April of 2021. It has been the most unbelievably awful customer experience I have ever had. They told me 16 weeks from when they receive my block to when they would ship me my 2.5l endurance engine. Well it still hasn't shipped and it's almost a year now.

John is super friendly on the phone if you can get through. But in October of 2021, after 20 weeks of having my engine, they called to say they took it off the pallet to start the build. Since then it's been escuses of being a certain number in line, or now it's missing cams even though I was told in October they had everything for it, was also told my cylinder head was done in Dec, but now it's still waiting on cams?

As of late they've been kind enough to send me pics of my built block with missing head as they wait for cams.

I should have just bought a used JDM engine and gone racing. As it stands I've missed a year of seat time and $13,000. I'm also afraid that the engine won't take abuse because if thier engines are built as poorly as their customer service, I'm screwed. Stay away, unless you don't mind the wait.

I tried to get some info from them about building a block, and rebuilding a head, but they were too arrogant to even answer questions, so I went with a local machine shop to rebuild my head, and Inline Pro for their F24 short block. Inline Pro customer service is nothing short of amazing, just like their work.
