Does anyone know the best place for the EGT sensor ?
I have to put a bung on my header and now because it is not installed it would be perfect to do it before installation. I think it is close to the first cylinder but how far away ? The defi manual shows it almost on the end of the header ???

I would put in 2 one in #1 and one in #4.

Since the #4 cylinder problem exists on several brands of cars and on those it has been proven to be a lean situation in the #4 I would guess that there is a good chance ours will turn out to be that also. The only way to know for sure is for someone to pony up and check it out.

It's not that much more expensive to put 2 in so be safe. Then you can tell us what you find and that will save me money :0

1. According to my installer #4 runs hotter on most Honda's.
2. We all know about the #4 cylinder problems in S2000's.

Mine is in #4.
