Default Is anyone using ramps?

I'm considering buying a set of ramps to drive my S2000 and G35 onto in order to do routine maintenance (fluid changes mostly). I want to be able to drive the entire car up onto the ramps and have good clearance to move around (I'm not too young or skinny anymore). Is anyone using ramps that they can recommend for these low profile vehicles? Thanks.

I just jack mine up using the jack for the spare tire. I do this on my gravel driveway and lay a blanket down to lay on...

I use a jack thats too high profile to get under the front, but i can jack up the rear diff, then i can fit it under the jackpoints in the front.

Thanks guys, but I'm thinking that ramps might be easier and safer than the jack, jackstand, wheel chock method. I found this set-up so far, but I'm not ready to spring that much money right now:

Maybe I can ask Santa (wife) for it???

You could probably use standard ramps, the s scrapes because the nose is long,
in front of the wheel well, it isn't as bad. you should go test out a pair at autozone. again though, the back end will have to be less than 4"

i have ramps. fwd cars with front up = ok. rwd cars with rear up = ok.

its hard to get a rwd car with the front up...cuz it just pushes the ramp away. you need a ramp you can bolt into the ground or something

i have blitz rhino ramps, which cost me like $25 at auto zone. they do the job, but i'm 5'8" and have a 31" waist. it's a tight fit moving around under the car. if i had to do some extended work under the car, it would be unacceptable and i would need to get some heavy duty jack stands or something.

also, the car scrapes ever so slightly when going up and down.

Im sure you could do an easy fix for that, perhaps rubber on the bottom , or maybe screwing or riveting cloth to the top so that the car first runs over the cloth, holdint the ramp in place.

You'de need to use some heavy vinyl or something.

I bought those same ramps. $26 at Pep Boys. They had a larger set too, but I didn't get them. If you have rear tires that are over 255, then I would get the slightly wider set (I think it's $30something). I used them for my hitch install.

You can see that it barely is wide enough to fit the 255 rear.
