Smile ANYONE WHOSE BEEN IN THE DOORS OF THE S2K!

my car had a single door ding on the passenger side and one on the drivers' side which i decided 2 get fixed yesterday to put it back to 'mint' condition. the tiny dents made me crazy and i was paranoid 2 let someone touch it, but whatever. the shop does mainly high-end cars.

i am unsure if this process could be related to my new problem, and i am guessing 'no' but maybe one of u will know.

they entered the passenger and drivers' doors from the jam by drilling a little hole. a good procedure IMO for PDR, as they don't have to yank the door panels. after this (immediately after), the passenger window was going up extremely slow, like bad motor slow, and i also had to push the button a couple of times to even get it 2 move.

the windows were up during the dent removal.

SO to those who have been IN the doors of the s2k, can they be related or is it coincidental?

thanx guys!

maybe they hit the motor or something mechinical in the window "going upper" thing im sure theres like different gadets in there and maybe during the removal of the dent some pressure/force/fast movement could have made somethng loose/come off ect. dont quote me im no mechanic just guessing hope this helps

If the window works, the window works. The PDR guy probably bent the track or something so there is a ton of resistance. That's my guess.

ok. thanx 2 u guys so far. they aren't taking any responsibility for it, and i am not sure if i blame them. i have never had the panel off, and really just want 2 know if it is possible for dent removal tools in that area of the door to interact w/the window workings.

n e 1 else? pix maybe?

your should remove the door panel and do an inspection.

this shop you went to blows.

if you used credit card, you should cancel the the transaction as fraudulent and tell them to fix what they broke.

i would fight for that if they screwed up on there part fight with the manager to get a hella discount, FIX IT, or get your money back this is why when i can't work on my car i physically watch them do EVERYTHING and make sure im satisfied there at the shop other wise ill tell them to do it right. I feel like if someone else is touching my car is like another guy touching my girl, I just don't like it unless its me doing the touching

thanx guys.

i was so paranoid about someone touching the car i couldn't bare to watch it. if something went wrong and i saw it i would go nuts. i also think of it as someone touching a person i love haha. it's my affordable ferrari

i have been reluctant to yank the door panel b/c i don't want 2 screw it up. i have no problem doing it on other people's cars, however. that's kinda why i wanted someone on here 2 tell/show me the possibilities of the dent dude screwing it up!
