AP1 A/C Receiver Discontinued

AP1 A/C Receiver Discontinued
It looks like the AP1 A/C receiver (80351-S04-A01) has been discontinued but the AP2 receiver (80315-S2A-901) is still available. Honda doesn't list the AP2 part as applicable to the AP1. Does anyone happen to know if the AP2 receiver will work on an AP1?

AC receiver is the canister in front of the condenser, it removes moisture after the high pressure gas has been cooled by the condenser and becomes a liquid. They're all interchangeable, there's nothing special about them, get a 4 season's one, or an AP2 one, up to you.

The Honda parts lists on line shows the "AP1" receiver fits my 2006 (AP2) car -- and several Civics -- so it's nothing special that I can see from my keyboard.
