Ap1 cylinder head removal - help slog light.

Default Ap1 cylinder head removal - help slog light.

I'm stuck. What do I need to remove to separate the entire head from the block? Help!! I'm losing sunlight!!

Take the TCT off I cant see clearly if its still on. Anything really thats holding the two parts together. Remove all the head studs and head bolts, rocker arms, etc etc.
Remove the timing chain sprocket so the timing chain will have slack. Dont drop the washer!
Lift head from spark plug tubes or pry around if its difficult.

There are so many DIYs available if you would just search.

I can't get the timing chain off. What do I need to do?

Just search for a cylinder head DIY already.

best guess is to remove the tensioner, take off wheel, remove head studs, check the service manual. Eat cake?
