Looks like an OEM AP1 flywheel to me. (I've changed probably around 40-50 S2000 clutches, so I am very familiar with them.)

Here is a thread to back up my claim. You can see the clear differences between AP1 and AP2 flywheels and the identifiable casting differences that make yours an AP1.

Ah yes, it is indeed. I didn't catch that with the rust on there. With it being 11-12 pounds I can't say for sure what brand it'd be. It's very similar in shape to the AP1 OEM flywheel. Fidanza maybe?

That's why I posted because I've never seen one with side before:

Bottom line, any chromoly flywheel you run will be great. I would definitely use it.

Find some one to properly "step grind" the flywheel.

1 measure current step-height
2 remove dowel pins
3 grind friction surface
4 grind PP mounting surface to original step-height
5 re-install dowels

Stay away from aluminum flywheels.

The Flywheel is Not Chrome Moly! If it was it would weigh about 5 lbs. its cast dirty OEM flywheel! It needs to be lathed and wiped (cleaned) prior to install.
