I got 300 miles (give or take a few) out of an entire tank of gas+4.2 gallons (put 15$ in before a drive through west va at about a half tank). I'm getting about 17.5 mpg (28.2 km/g) with majority city driving and my foot on the floor alot! I have an ap2 with 46k. Hope that helps! seems kind of bad but whatever
You own a sports car with perhaps the best 4 cylinder engine ever made. It deserves and craves spirited driving.

Any suggestions guys?

Thanks in advance.
My gsx also gets better mileage than the S, i dont have to get on the gas as much to get up to speed because it makes 8x as much power than the S.

I get about 400kms per tank out of mine, but I mainly do short drives, and drive quite spritidly

I dont care though, it only costs me AED60 to fill up:P

Thats about $20 i think? UK would be triple that I guess!

Driving habits are probably to blame.

I get between 25-27MPG (40 - 43KPG) around town and 32MPG (51KPG) or so on the highway (U.S. gallons). Your turbo B16 may just have a large turbo on it....so it runs like a stock B16 until you floor it and the turbo finally spools. But that may not be the case. I once got 17MPG for combination road race/highway.

I also burn almost zero oil. You'd expect a car with a 9k redline and oil squirters to consume a little. After I road race mine, I notice that sometimes it consumes a tiny bit of oil...but usually not more than .25qts per hour of track time. That's a stretch as well...it's usually well under that. Mine's got 25k on it. It's an 00.

Regardless....try changing your driving habits a little bit. You also never said how many miles were on the car of if you had done the maintinence (if needed).

Shift at higher revs but use less throttle position. Dont dog it. It's a very top end power biased, small 4 cylinder. Rev it out to like 4k or 4.5k for the first three gears from a stop light....use light throttle position and just use the revs to keep up with traffic.
wow 25-27 mpg. thats impressive, I usually get around 25 and I hit vtec maybe once or twice per tank. I also do about 40% highway at 70-73 mph in my 07 with almost no hard acceleration, not sure what else I can do to improve my mileage

25-27 MPG is around the suburbs...not the city. But I still have fun with the car even at those numbers.

Do you let your car idle a lot? I mean it's an 07, so it obviously doesn't need maint. or anything. lol..that just leaves driving habits.

If you let your car idle a lot, that would definately explain your lower gas mileage numbers. Idle = 0mpg. That adds up and brings your average down pretty quickly. Why do you let it idle so much? Is it to warm it up? Just because of the nature of your commute? Other reasons?

By maintainence, I meant tune ups, spark plugs, O2 sensors...things of that nature that you only have to worry about on higher mileage cars. I said since yours is an 07, it probably doesn't need maintainence of that sort yet.
