As the title says...I'm trying to figure out if an AP1 intake box lid, is the same as an AP2 intake box lid? I believe the only difference in the whole intake assemblies, is the intake arm and lower breather...so they should work together no problem. I'm just wondering because I put my stock intake back on my S, and cant find my intake box lid for the life of me. A local has offered to sell me his lid off an AP1 intake assembly, who also says he doesn't think there should be any issues with it. Would be great to get confirmation from someone who knows 100% sure it will work, so I don't drive 30 minutes to get it...if it won't.

Not sure on the lid, but I recall reading the AP1 and Ap2 intake system are the same only Ap2 2006+ (DBW systems) are different. Again, I'm not 100% certain on this.
