Default Ap1 k24 or 2jz Swap?

Hey guys, so I love my ap1, I've had it for about a year now and have no real complaints about the car but now that i have a daily driver i want more power out of my s2k. From my little research it doesnt seem like a good idea to build it. I was doing a little research and have found k24 are a good power plant but a friend turned me onto the idea of a 2jz swap. Im a honda guy thru and thru but he is making alot of sense power wise. I do want to go turbo as I already have a 6266 percision turbo new in the box. My main use for the car will be for Autocross and Sunday drives. I want to be within the 500-600whp range. Any ideas or input greatly appricated. If anyone knows how much it would cost to have a full 2jz swap in and running. What parts would be required and such. All this info will give me a good idea of whether or not i will go k24 turbo or with a 2jz. Also please suggest anything else you may thing is a good swap.
thanks again

Neither option is going to be cheap. Swapping in a K24 requires a new intake, and exhaust manifold, as well as an adapter plate for the transmission. And that's the mechanical side, then there's the electrical issue, that most K series engines are DBW, they also use different sensors, so I don't know if you can get away with using an OEM ecu, may have to go stand-alone.

i don't autocross, but a 600hp rear wheel drive car that's as snappy as these ap1's sounds like a nightmare, haha. though a 600hp sunday driver sounds plenty fun.

A 600 HP turbo lag autocross build? How fast do you think you will go in an autocross?

Seriously for the amount of money it costs you'd be better off converting your F20 to an F24 and keeping it all motor. That's probably the cheapest way to gain a good 50whp without affecting reliability or needing much by the way of supporting mods. Next step would be adding a low boost supercharger, something like 10psi, that would comfortably get you in the 400whp range with torque to match and not stress the engine in any crazy way. You would have to upgrade your clutch and you would be forbidden from launching unless you upgraded your drivetrain any way you slice it. You would also need an oil cooler for reliability as well as standalone computer, and injectors and a new fuel pump. Plus gauges so you can keep tabs on things.

i would just spend 10G on a turbo/super chargers and all the supporting mods and call it a day. Make around 400whp should be a fun daily at that power lvl imo

I think going the 2JZ route will cost you an arm and leg.
