Default AP1 seats (+AP1 Rails) in a AP2 car

After searching for a while i couldnt find this kind of a combo...

Would i be able to fit ap1 seats + ap1 rails (came from 2004 s2k) in a 2006 s2k?

if not what kind of mods do i need?

thanks in advance!

As far as seat fitment goes, AP1 and AP2 are the same until you get to 2006, That is when they changed.

Agreed. the Driver's seat will be fine as is, the passenger's side you will need to swap the AP1 rails for the existing AP2 rails.

I guess i will find out next week when i pick up the seats, but just wanted to know what to expect...

Nope. They are different enough that will not work.

just to clarify something; even though 2004 is considered as ap2 chassis the seats are still considered ap1?
cuz if the seats are ap2 rails and i have 2006 s2k they should be the same?

or im super wrong?

thanks

I understand your logic, but think of it this way.....when the seat design changed (solid upper portion, no cutout) the rail design changed. So '06+ use a different rail (passenger side only)

Another potential problem with the AP1 rails would be the airbag sensor wouldn't have a place to mount on the old AP1 rail. Correct me if I'm wrong.
